If you're planning a trip to Africa and want to immerse yourself in nature, here are the top eight parks you simply can't miss:

  1. Serengeti National Park, Tanzania The Serengeti is one of the most famous parks in Africa and for good reason. This vast savanna is home to a huge number of wildlife including the big five: lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards and rhinos. It's also the site of the annual wildebeest migration, a spectacular event that sees millions of animals move across the plain in search of food and water.

  2. Kruger National Park, South Africa Kruger is one of the largest parks in Africa and is a top destination for tourists. The park is known for its rich wildlife, including the big five, as well as its well-maintained roads and facilities. 3. Virunga National Park, Democratic Republic of Congo Virunga is the oldest park in Africa and is located in the heart of the Congo Basin. This park is famous for its gorillas, and is one of the few places in the world where you can go on a gorilla trek and get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures. It's also home to other primates, as well as elephants, lions, and buffalos.

  4. Chobe National Park, Botswana Chobe is a stunning park that is located in the northern part of Botswana.
